What is current stimulation therapy?
The current stimulation therapy is a form of electric treatment, in which the pulsed currents (DC or low-frequency alternating currents) are used therapeutically.
With the help of electric stimulation therapy especially weakened muscles can with weak stimulation current (1 to 1000 Hz) be stimulated to contract activity (contraction). Moreover, the method is applied for muscle tightness, pain and circulation problems. A special form of electrical stimulation therapy is transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), which is used in particular with neuralgia (pain in the area of sensory nerves) and tumor-related pain.
In addition, a pacemaker is also a very frequently encountered form of electrical stimulation therapy as it stimulates continuously and deliberately through which the myocardium (heart muscle) is stimulated by current surges and accordingly ensures the functioning of the heart .
Function, mode and objectives of the conventional electro-therapy
The electrical stimulation therapy is applied as a rule in weakened muscles, tissue and / or muscle atrophy (loss of muscle or tissue), circulatory disorders, neuralgia, sciatica (sciatic nerve irritation), arthritis, tenosynovitis, incontinence and post-traumatic pain symptoms and also in sports medicine.
Here, the electric stimulation therapy uses as any form of electrotherapy the basic conductivity of the human body, which is ensured in particular by the blood, urine and the lymphatic and cerebrospinal fluid and the organs and muscles. Through electrical stimulation neural reactions are caused, which can contribute in addition to the irritation of the muscles also to reduce pain (analgesic effect) and to improve circulation (hyperemic effect).
With the stimulation current therapy currents are used in amplitude modulated pulse sequences. The current intensity, pulse duration and frequency specifically used is selected depending on the customization of the present illness and disease stage. The muscle to be treated is in this case is stimulated indirectly via electrodes attached to the skin of the affected by an electrical stimulation of the motor nerves supplying the muscle to induce contract activity in that the natural neural innervation is imitated.
By diadynamic pulses (alternating currents with different frequencies with simultaneous use of galvanic currents) an analgesic effect in pain symptoms, rheumatic diseases or acute traumatic pain is achieved. It is assumed that the ionic environment of the membranes is modified by the low frequency currents,in a way so that the conduction is influenced in the sensory nerve and accordingly leads to an analgesic effect.
The stimulation currents also stimulate the vasomotor (the movement of the blood vessels) autonomic nerve fibers. In the area undergoing therapy can vascular expansion occur (vasodilation) and therefore a hyperemic effect be induced. In the last century, two persons decisively participated in the research and development of the possibilities of electric stimulation therapy - Royal Raymond Rife and Dr. Hulda Clark. Hulda Clark has become known primarily for her hypotheses concerning the origin and treatment of cancer.
On one hand, it has been discovered that viruses and bacteria can be successfully eliminated with specific frequencies.
On the other hand you can with various complaints achieve an improvement and even healing with the use of a combination of different frequencies. In the meantime the CAFL list has been published, which lists up to 1000 clinical pictures with the appropriate recommended treatment frequencies. The clinical pictures are not only in the physical but also the mental area. So frequency combinations are on the list, for example, for abscesses and pruritus ani, for concentration problems up to wellness and celiac disease.
Elektroherbalism - The Consolidated Annotated Frequency List (CAFL)
The CAFL contains the frequencies from many sources combined into one list. Besides the anecdotal frequencies which can not be found on any other list, it includes early Garvey sets as well as more modern frequency sets from researchers such as Don Tunney of Resonant Light Technology and Michael Tigchelaar of TrueRife. A problem with the CAFL is that the sets for even minor maladies can be quite long. However, all frequencies found were included in the hope that at least one in a set would be beneficial.
Dr. Hulda Clark - her theories
According to Clark, parasites, especially when chemical solvents are present in the body, tend to develop themselves at all stages in the human body and do no longer necessarily require natural intermediate hosts. In cancer invariably parasites, particularly flukes like the large intestinal fluke, are the actual cause of the disease. The Alzheimer's disease is caused by intestinal flukes and toluene or xylene in the brain. Depression is incurred by hookworms in the brain, diabetes by pancreatic flukes. Royal Raymond Rife
Rife grew up in Elkhorn, Nebraska and moved to San Diego, where he first took a job as a chauffeur in an influential family who financially supported him later. He then worked for a German company for optical systems and began privately to develop microscopes and medical treatment devices and to be interested in health issues, especially cancer. Some of his inventions he patented and tried to market them.
In the 1980s, Rife's inventions were revived. Different individuals and companies participated in the inventions and hypotheses of Rife and there was a wide range of products in the alternative medicine market.

In 1960 his development workshop was searched and parts of the laboratory equipment were seized by the authorities. The reason were investigations by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which regarded some of the by Rife developed devices as medical equipment without authorization. There was a trial of Rife and his staff member Crane. Rife himself was arrested and released on bail. He later fled to Mexico to escape a prison sentence, and returned only in 1964 back to the US. His staff member Crane was sentenced to ten years in prison, but was already released after three years.
According to Rife 75% of the pathogene hitherto unknown to him are visible only under ultraviolet light. However, since UV light is invisible to humans, he set up two light sources, UV light of different wavelengths and measured the frequency difference between them and attempted to see it in the range of wavelengths of visible light. At the same time he believed to have identified certain frequencies of light (including the ultraviolet frequency range of light), which, if they were supplied from outside, could selectively kill certain microorganisms. Here, there would be a resonance phenomenon between these organisms and the appropriate wavelength (or frequency) of light. This resonance frequency he named "Mortal Oscillation rate".
The transmission of frequencies is done not only on the physical level, but it is also "information". My experiences have confirmed this. The stimulus current is not necessarily indicative. Improper or inadequate application of electric stimulation therapy can cause serious damage. Too high a dose can cause lesions of the treated areas and circulation and sensory disturbances (paraesthesia).
A stimulation current therapy is also contraindicated with a pregnancy since the procedure during pregnancy can cause infantile or fetal malformation. A contraindication is also if the person being treated has a pacemaker, as the functionality of the pacemaker may be adversely affected by the application of stimulating currents. If there are inflammatory diseases, thrombosis, open skin areas, metals in the body of the person to be treated (metal implants, prostheses) and / or a pronounced arterial circulatory disorder (among others atherosclerosis), the use of electrical stimulation therapy should also be accurately checked or even excluded.
Moreover, with people who carry an insulin pump, with people with arrhythmia, febrile illnesses, increased bleeding or those who have malignant tumors, special caution should be taken in the use of stimulating currents. For persons who have a pathological fear of electricity, an electric stimulation therapy is also not appropriate.
